The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: Dog?s Weight: 5-10 lbs; 1/4 – 3/8 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog?s Weight: 11-20 lbs; 3/8 – 1/2 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog?s Weight: 21-40 lbs; 1/2 – 1 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog?s Weight: 41-60 lbs; 1 ? 1-1/2 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog?s Weight: 61-100 lbs; 1-1/2 ? 2-1/4 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog?s Weight: lbs; ? lbs amount to feed per day. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition.
