Directions

Basic Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Bring water and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes. Servings: 1 serving; Cereal: 1/4 cup; Water: 3/4 cup; Salt: Pinch. Servings: 2 servings; Cereal: 1/2 cup; Water:1 1/2 cup; Salt: 1/8 tsp. Servings: 3 servings; Cereal: 3/4 cup; Water:2 1/4 cup; Salt: 1/4 tsp. Servings: 4 servings; Cereal: 1 cup; Water: 3 cup; Salt: 1/4 tsp. Microwave: Combine 1/4 cup cereal, 3/4 cup water anu d pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until water is fully absorbed, stopping every 30 seconds to stir Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving. Slow cooker: combine 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in a slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1 1/2-2 hours. Stir well and serve. Makes 4 servings.
Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening.
