For food safety and quality, cook to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Do not refreeze! Microwave Instructions: To cook entire package of Flav-R-Pac sweet green peas place frozen vegetables in a covered microwave safe dish. Add 3 tablespoons of water and cover. For lower wattage ovens, cook on high for 4 minutes. Stir and cook on high an additional 4 minutes. Allow to stand 3 minutes. Season to taste. For ovens greater than 1100 watts, cook on high for 3 minutes. Stir and cook on high an additional 3 minutes. Allow to stand for 3 minutes. Season to taste. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the appliance used. Stove Top Instructions: Bring 1/3 cup of water to a boil in a 2 quart saucepan. Add entire package of Flav-R-Pac sweet green peas and return to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and boil gently for 5 to 7 minutes until tender. Stir once during cooking time. Season to taste. Keep frozen.
