These Terms & Conditions explain how RideGro receives, prepares, fulfills, delivers, and, when authorized, places customer grocery orders.
By placing an order with RideGro, using the RideGro website, requesting delivery, requesting placement at a vehicle, lodging, property, or other location, or communicating with RideGro about an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the RideGro Privacy & Cookies Policy, and the RideGro Refund, Cancellation & Order Issues Policy.
These Terms & Conditions are written for customer transparency and operational clarity. They do not limit any rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
RideGro Is an Independent Grocery Ordering and Fulfillment Service
RideGro is an independent grocery ordering, sourcing, preparation, fulfillment, and delivery service.
Customers purchase directly from RideGro. RideGro is responsible for receiving orders, processing payments, sourcing products, preparing orders, managing substitutions, delivering orders, handling customer support, and reviewing refund or credit requests under RideGro policies.
RideGro is not owned, operated, controlled, endorsed, or guaranteed by any third-party vehicle operator, property operator, lodging provider, travel provider, retailer, marketplace, access coordinator, delivery location, or other third party, unless RideGro expressly states otherwise in writing.
A third party may provide limited logistical assistance, such as allowing access to a delivery location, vehicle, property, storage area, reception area, lobby, garage, pickup location, or other authorized placement area.
That logistical assistance does not make the third party the seller of RideGro products and does not make the third party responsible for RideGro orders, payments, substitutions, refunds, product condition, missing items, customer service, or delivery issues.
Customer Relationship and Responsibility
When you place an order through RideGro, you are entering into a direct transaction with RideGro. RideGro is the party responsible for the order transaction unless otherwise stated in writing.
Any questions, concerns, missing item claims, product issues, substitution concerns, refund requests, delivery issues, or placement issues must be directed to RideGro.
Third-party vehicle operators, property operators, lodging operators, travel providers, access coordinators, retailers, or other third parties are not responsible for resolving RideGro customer service matters unless they separately agree in writing.
You are responsible for providing accurate order details, delivery information, contact information, timing information, access instructions, and any special instructions before your order is prepared or delivered.
RideGro is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, incorrect placement, product spoilage, or customer inconvenience caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unavailable customer instructions.
Product Sourcing and Retail Sources
RideGro may source products from grocery stores, wholesalers, local retailers, warehouse stores, specialty stores, farmers markets, distributors, or other product sources selected by RideGro.
Product sources may vary by availability, location, timing, pricing, inventory, operating hours, and operational feasibility.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, third-party product sources are not responsible for RideGro pricing, delivery, substitutions, refunds, customer support, order timing, or placement services.
Any receipt, product label, brand name, store name, or retail reference does not make that retailer responsible for the RideGro customer transaction.
RideGro may use reasonable judgment to select product sources in order to complete the order efficiently and safely.
RideGro does not guarantee that any item will be sourced from a particular store unless RideGro expressly confirms that requirement in writing before fulfillment begins.
Pricing, Fees, Taxes, and Product Availability
RideGro prices may differ from in-store prices, shelf prices, online prices, promotional prices, membership prices, loyalty prices, sale prices, or prices charged by other retailers or delivery platforms.
RideGro pricing may include product sourcing, shopping labor, handling, preparation, packaging, platform costs, payment processing, delivery coordination, operating costs, risk, and other business costs.
Product availability, sizing, brands, flavors, packaging, weights, and prices may change without notice.
RideGro may update prices, remove products, limit quantities, decline items, substitute items, or cancel unavailable items at its discretion.
Taxes, delivery fees, service fees, handling fees, small-order fees, priority fees, or other charges may apply where disclosed during checkout or confirmed by RideGro.
If a fee is charged by RideGro, it is charged by RideGro and not by any third-party vehicle operator, property operator, lodging provider, retailer, or access coordinator, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery and Placement Services
RideGro may deliver to homes, lodging locations, properties, approved pickup points, vehicles, offices, or other locations where delivery is operationally feasible and legally permissible.
Delivery availability depends on location, timing, order size, staffing, weather, road conditions, access instructions, and other operational factors.
RideGro may decline, reschedule, cancel, or modify delivery if a location is unsafe, inaccessible, unlawful, unclear, materially delayed, outside the service area, or not feasible under the circumstances.
Delivery confirmation may include a timestamp, photo, written confirmation, customer communication, third-party confirmation, or other reasonable proof of delivery.
Once RideGro provides delivery or placement confirmation, responsibility for retrieving and safeguarding the order generally transfers to the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Vehicle Placement Policy
If a customer requests that RideGro place an order inside a vehicle, RideGro may do so only if the vehicle operator, owner, manager, or authorized access coordinator has approved limited pre-arrival or pre-check-in access.
RideGro will not access a vehicle without authorization from the appropriate access-controlling party.
Vehicle placement is limited to placing the completed customer order in the approved area, such as a trunk, cargo area, rear seat, or another designated area.
RideGro will not drive, move, start, unlock without authorization, inspect, search, clean, service, operate, or otherwise control the vehicle.
RideGro will not access glove compartments, consoles, locked areas, vehicle documents, personal property, or restricted areas unless expressly authorized and necessary for the approved placement.
RideGro may take photos to confirm placement. Photos are intended to document delivery and should not be treated as an inspection of vehicle condition.
RideGro is responsible only for damage directly caused by RideGro personnel during approved placement, subject to these policies and applicable law.
The vehicle operator or access-controlling party remains responsible for its own vehicle operations, vehicle condition, vehicle delivery, customer check-in process, platform obligations, insurance obligations, and guest relationship.
RideGro is not responsible for vehicle delivery, vehicle rental obligations, vehicle availability, keys, driver eligibility, vehicle damage unrelated to RideGro placement, or any transportation service.
Third-Party Access, Properties, and Locations
RideGro may coordinate with third-party vehicle operators, property operators, lodging operators, reception teams, building staff, access coordinators, parking operators, or other third parties for limited logistical purposes.
Such coordination may include confirming a delivery window, receiving access instructions, locating an approved placement area, or confirming that an order was placed.
These third parties are not sellers of RideGro products and are not responsible for RideGro order payment, product selection, substitutions, refunds, product quality, missing items, customer support, or delivery issues.
Their involvement, if any, is limited to logistics or access unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Customers should not ask third parties to modify, refund, replace, store, refrigerate, protect, inspect, or resolve RideGro orders unless RideGro has expressly authorized that arrangement in writing.
Restricted Products
RideGro may refuse to sell, source, deliver, or place any product for legal, safety, operational, policy, or business reasons.
Restricted products may include alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, cannabis, controlled substances, illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition, hazardous materials, prescription medications, age-restricted products, recalled products, live animals, products requiring special licensing, products unsafe for unattended placement, or any item RideGro determines is inappropriate or impractical for the order.
RideGro may cancel restricted items or the entire order without liability beyond any refund required under RideGro policies or applicable law.
Customer Conduct and Accurate Information
Customers agree to provide accurate information and to communicate respectfully with RideGro personnel.
RideGro may refuse service, cancel orders, restrict accounts, or decline future service if a customer provides false information, abuses refund policies, requests prohibited items, engages in harassment, creates safety concerns, attempts fraud, disputes legitimate charges improperly, or otherwise violates RideGro policies.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery or placement instructions are lawful, safe, accurate, and authorized by any person or entity controlling the delivery location.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
RideGro will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide reliable service. However, RideGro does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact product availability, exact delivery timing, perfect substitutions, retailer inventory, weather conditions, road conditions, third-party access, vehicle access, or unattended product condition after delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RideGro is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, lost profit, lost opportunity, travel disruption, lodging disruption, vehicle rental disruption, emotional distress, or similar damages arising from or related to use of the service.
RideGro’s liability for any order-related claim will not exceed the amount paid to RideGro for the specific order giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Related Policies
By placing an order with RideGro, customers also agree to the following RideGro policies:
Privacy & Cookies Policy;
Refund, Cancellation & Order Issues Policy.
If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and another RideGro policy, RideGro may interpret the policies together in a commercially reasonable manner, subject to applicable law.
Updates to These Terms
RideGro may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms may be posted on the RideGro website or otherwise made available.
Continued use of RideGro after an update means the customer accepts the updated Terms & Conditions, unless applicable law requires a different process.
