Make the World’s Best Oatmeal at Home: Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Extra Thick Rolled Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Servings: 1 serving, 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, pinch salt. Servings: 2 servings, 1 cup oats, 2 cups water, 1/4 tsp salt. Servings: 3 servings 1-1/2 cup oats, 3 cups water, 1/4 tsp salt. Servings: 4 servings, 2 cup oat, 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt. Microwave instructions: In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup extra thick rolled oats, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Stir well before eating. Makes 1 serving.
Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening.
