Crescent Mapleine Imitation Maple Flavor. To make Instant Syrup, pour 1 cup boiling water over 2 cups sugar. Add 1/2 tsp. Mapleine and stir. Makes 2-1/4 cups. To make Thick Syrup, combine 2 tbsp. water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1-1/2 cups corn syrup, 1/2 tsp. Mapleine. Boil 2 minutes. Mixture will thicken as it cools. Makes 1 pint. This product also flavors cakes, breads, muffins and cookies.
