Directions
Preparation Time: 15 min. Baking Time: 30 min. Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (390 degrees F) in fan mode. 2. Pour 3-1/3 cups (800 mL) of water or 4-1/4 cups (1 L) of milk (for a creamier result) into a bowl and add the sieved Bechamel mix, stirring with a whisk to prevent lumps. 3. Bring the mixture to the boil over medium heat, continuing to stir with the whisk. Cook and stir for another 2-3 minutes after it comes to the boil to obtain a creamy consistency. Remove from the heat. 4. Transfer 4 tbsp of Bechamel sauce into a non-stick or aluminum baking tray (8x8x2 inch), taking care to cover the bottom thoroughly so that the lasagna does not stick. 5. Proceed by laying 2 sheets of pasta next to one-another in the baking tray. Add 2 tbsp of vegetable ragu and 4 tbsp of B?chamel, spreading them evenly. 6. Repeat the above steps, alternating 2 sheets of pasta with 4 tbsp of Bechamel and 2 of ragu, finishing the top layer with B?chamel and ragu together. 7. For an extra touch, grate parmesan cheese over the top layer. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for about 30 minutes and remove when nicely browned.
Tips: For an even tastier lasagna add grated Parmesan cheese and sauteed mushrooms to each layer!
Store in a cool and dry place. Keep away from heat sources.
