To use in an electric drip coffee maker, follow instructions packed with appliance. Range Top Drip Coffeemaker: Helpful Hint! Fold over crimped edges of the cone coffee filter before inserting in cone holder for superior fit and added strength. 1. Insert coffee filter into holder and place on top of the carafe. 2. Place 2 level tablespoons of drip or regular grind coffee for each serving desired in the paper filter, add more or less to taste. 3. Measure 6 oz. of fresh cold water for each serving desired into a tea kettle or similar pouring vessel. Bring water to a boil. Pour 1/2 of the water over the coffee in a circular motion to permit complete saturation of the coffee, then stir. Wait one minute, then pour in the rest of the water. 4. After water has dripped through, remove filter. Fits most 8-12 cup cone style coffeemakers.
