Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F as verified by a food thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Pan Fry: Preheat 1/3 cup cooking oil in a large non stick skillet over medium high heat. Add half bag of potatoes to skillet to form an even layer. Careful, oil may spatter. Cook 8 minutes. Turn potatoes and reduce heat to medium. Continue cooking 5 minutes or until golden brown. Electric Skillet: Preheat 1/3 cup of cooking oil in an electric skillet to 350 degrees F. Add half bag of potatoes to skillet to form an even layer. Careful, oil may spatter. Cook 6 to 7 minutes. Drizzle with another 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, turn potatoes and continue cooking 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown. Caution: Product will be hot. Do not refreeze if thawed.
