Directions

You will need: 1/4 Cup Water 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 Egg *. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F for aluminum or glass pan or 325 degrees F for nonstick or glass pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir Brownie Mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. Pan Size: 8 inch x 8 inch – Bake time (in minute): 37-40; Pan size: 9 inch x 9 inch – Bake time (in minutes): 31-34; Pan size:11 inch x 7 inch – Bake time (in minutes): 27-30. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. *For cakelike brownies, use 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Betty’s Tip: To cut warm brownies easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. Do not eat raw brownie batter.
