Directions

Griddle Fry: Farm Breakfast Waffle Directions:

2 cups waffle mix with 1? cups water and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil makes 10 4-inch waffles.

1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. Place water and oil in a bowl; add mix. Using a wire whisk, stir until blended.
3. Allow batter to thicken for 5 minutes.
4. Pour 1 cup batter (? cup for each 4-inch grid) onto preheated waffle iron.
5. Cook waffles following manufacturer’s directions or until steaming stops. Serve hot with butter and your favorite waffle topping.

Pan Fry: Farm Breakfast Pancake Directions:
1 cup pancake mix* with ? cup cold water makes 5?6 5-inch pancakes. 
2 cups pancake mix* with 1? cups cold water makes 10?12 5-inch pancakes. 
3 cups pancake mix* with 2? cups cold water makes 15?18 5-inch pancakes. 
4 cups pancake mix* with 3 cups cold water makes 20?24 5-inch pancakes.
*Fluff mix with a fork before measuring. Do not pack.

1. Lightly grease and preheat griddle or frying pan to 375?F (medium heat).
2. Place water in a bowl; add mix. Using a wire whisk, stir until blended. (Batter will be slightly lumpy.) For thicker pancakes, decrease water to 2/3 cup for each cup of mix used and allow batter to thicken for 5 minutes.
3. Pour ? cup batter for reach 5-inch pancake onto preheated griddle or pan.
4. Cook until small bubbles cover entire surface or 1?1? minutes on each side until golden brown. Turn only once. Serve hot with butter and your favorite pancake topping.
